The Best Stocking Stuffers for Your S.O.

My favorite time of year is in full-swing and it’s already passing by too quickly. This doesn’t make it any easier to Christmas shop, especially if you’re blanking on what to get the important people in your life. In this week’s blog, myself and a few of my friends will be sharing with you our favorite stocking stuffers for him and for her.

As a preface, these gifts don’t only have to be included in stockings. When I put together gifts for my family and friends, I usually like to accumulate a bunch of small and medium-sized gifts, put them all in one big bag or box for the recipient to open. These are the little something’s that can accentuate the larger gifts, just adding a little bit more joy on Christmas morning.

Stocking Stuffers for Him

Something Personalized

A small, personalized gift is always a nice addition on Christmas morning. It can make something seemingly ordinary appear a lot more nice and thoughtful. Get him a personalized pocket knife like this one or a personalized pint glass like these.

A Funky Beer Coozie or Shot Glass

Most men I know love booze– so why not get him a funky beer coozie or shot glass that will show his personality (and make him look cool in front of his friends)? I like this Christmas sweater-themed coozie or these funny shot glasses.

Something for their Team

This is for the men who like sports: get them a little something for their favorite sports team! If you live locally, head over to SCORE! in Black Mountain and get a team toothbrush – something he’ll use and love!

Airplane Bottles

Airplane bottles are those tiny little bottles of liquor that you usually receive on (you guessed it!) airplanes. Bring the excitement of flying to your man’s stocking and throw in a couple of miniature bottles of his favorite liquor. In my experience, you can never go wrong with alcohol!

Stocking Stuffers for Her

Spa Stuff

It’s no secret that women love to pamper themselves. Include some must-have at-home spa necessities in her stocking so she can treat herself after spending the holidays with your family (you know she’ll need it!). My favorite must-have’s are bath bombs, face masks, nail polish and candles.

Earrings or Small Jewelry

Women just really love jewelry, so any way you can slide some extra bling into their gifts will make you a major winner. By including some small jewelry purchases, you’ll make a great impression while also giving her something to wear to remember you by. I personally love these opal stud earrings for under $20.

Like jewelry, women love to receive makeup that we can have fun with. To keep your purchases on the smaller side, I’d suggest going to Ulta or Sephora and getting a couple of travel-sized/trial-sized makeup and beauty items near the cash registers. This way you can get the smaller version of name-brand products for a fraction of the original price. Little things like these make great stocking stuffers!

Incense and Candles

Smell-good stuff is always at the top of my list when receiving or giving gifts, and they make great stuffers and fillers! Incense is relatively inexpensive, so it’s an incredibly economical choice if you know your woman likes it. Candles can also be bought in smaller sizes to make great stocking stuffers. Small candles like this one make great additions to presents.

Honorable Mention

“I put Hot Wheels in with a few of my gifts last year and my grown ass cousins went nuts, so toy cars are good for any age!”

– Madison M.

This was a cumulation of mine and others’ stocking stuffer suggestions for your significant other this holiday season. I’d like to thank the people who helped me to write this week’s blog post!

I’d also like to thank you for your patience in waiting on this blog. With the holidays in full-swing, I’ve been very busy and have been trying to focus on myself more than I have been, which means some irregular blog scheduling. Thanks for understanding!
