One of my dream jobs would probably be to have my own show on HGTV. That channel is about the only thing I miss about having cable. Yes, I love interior design, if that wasn’t evident when I showed you my dorm from both my freshman and sophomore years in college. Now I wanted to bring you my old high school bedroom.
This isn’t necessarily what it looked like in high school; I’ve tweaked it over the years and have it fitting my current style. But it’s had pink walls since 2010 (which has, honestly, never suited me, but I’ve made it work) and I’ve owned the same vanity since I was three or four (there’s even nail polish stains on it from when I first got it). Though some of it is a little outdated, it’s still “me.” And I’m still very fond of it, even if it’s not really “my room” 10 months out of the year.
Here ya go.

I see you everywhere in this room! It’s original, opinionated, revealing intelligent planning with thought provoking and interesting ideas. It’s exciting, sort of nostalgic, but also has an area of sweetness.I see it covered with intelligence that is bursting to be set free and noticed, while there are child-like curiosities that warm the heart and touch the soul! Yes,my darling, you have expressed yourself well, but only giving a glimpse to the world of the multiple layers of the mysterious and lovely Mia!!! Fantastic job you did! Love you bunches! Kim Arnold
